I find the selection to be one of the best dub compilations out there. It contains dubs from all the greats but Augustus Pablo. You can find Augustus on Dub Massive Chapter Two. The compilation starts off with an outstanding selection from Sly and the Revolutionaries named “cocaine? that sets the pace for the rest of the cd to follow. Selection number three consists of “Don’t Think About Me? by Mafia All Stars with King Tubby that will surely put you in an irie mood.

Selection number five is a unique selection by Tapper Zukie called “Man A Warrior? where he toasts over the Temptations “Poppa Was A Rolling Stone? that will grow on you. My favorite selection is number fifteen by Prince Jammy called “Fist Of Fury?. It’s a mellow dub joint to sit back and groove to. “Keep Cool Babylon? by Ras Michel And The Sons Of Negus closes out the set and is perhaps the most spiritual selection on the cd. It contains a Nyabingi spiritual drum vibe.

You will find that this cd contains a vast selection of dub greats. Most of the dubs are found on other dub comps but if one is new to what dub is supposed to sound like, I highly recommend this selection. Mid seventies to early 80s provide the best era for dub. Big up to Trojan.
