The documentary follows the Marley Family during their trip to Ethiopia to celebrate Bob’s 60th Birthday and ignites the screen with the spirit of world-renowned reggae icon Bob Marley in every frame
Bob Marley’s name is almost synonymous with Reggae. We remember the brilliant and evocative music that he gave the world; music recorded more than two decades ago that still remains timeless and universal. With a career that endured over twenty years, Bob Marley was one of the most charismatic, prolific and universally loved performers of our time.
Commemorating Marley’s undying legacy, are DJ LionDub, who has opened for Damien Marley, The Wailers and Johnny Osbourne, and The New Kingston Band, a talented group of 4 brothers, who have toured as the backing band for reggae giants like Sean Paul, Sizzla, Sugar Minot, Richie Spice, Collie Buddz and many others. With this combination of remarkable talent, entertainment courtesy of Palm Pictures, and the rich tradition of S.O.B.’s, there is only one way to celebrate Bob Marley’s birthday this year!
